Senior National Account Manager - Tesco

West London Based – Major Branded Food Co

Salary & reward: Up to £70k plus exceptional package

 

Due to progression we have a superb Senior National Account Manager opportunity to lead the #1 retailer in the UK – Tesco. This is a high-profile role within this leading branded Global Food Company where you would be managing a portfolio of chilled brands; with a combined RSV that make it the largest Account remit for them. If you are looking for a progressive career employer where you can take up an initial challenging role which will build profile and prove to be a stepping-stone to Channel Controller, Commercial Strategy or Grocery Customer Director roles!

 

As Senior National Account Manager you would be fully accountable for Tesco; managing the relationship; driving forward the customers vision and plan across the cross functional team; hold full JBP and P&L accountability. Building on a solid platform and relationship, they are now looking for a dynamic Senior National Account Manager to play a pivotal role in strategically developing the account further within some challenging market conditions.

 

Whilst a major branded business they are a fairly lean operation and we need individuals that are category-focused and strong leading cross-functional teams to ensure success. Operating within key destination categories this opportunity will allow you to develop and implement account strategies, develop robust customer relationships and build a significant profile within the customer!

 

Successful candidates for this Senior National Account Manager role will come with a track-record of success within Retail Buying or FMCG account management in a branded environment and experience within the Top 4 Grocers would be a distinct advantage. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential. A genuine flair for building strategic customer relationships and multi-level networking are a must. In summary the role would give you significant exposure and profile within both the customer but also this leading food company working with some fantastic brands and people; joining a company recognised as a career employer.
