We have an awesome opportunity for a highly commercial Account Manager to join one of the most respected global Animal Nutrition businesses currently operating in the UK. With the backing of a multi-billion-dollar organisation and a huge portfolio of leading customers, this role is ideal for commercial and technically oriented professionals looking to take on a key role within a dynamic and growth-oriented business.
With a fast-paced and adaptable work ethic, a commitment to full technical training and development, and an outstanding rewards scheme, we are now looking for a self-motivated field-based Account Manager to join the team, and both manage a portfolio of key customers and develop business opportunities with a focus on excellent customer service and an unmatched technical product knowledge.
This is an outstanding opportunity for any individuals with 2-3 years B2B Sales experience either within Animal Nutrition or other relevant industries including FMCG and Life Sciences who are looking to take on a role with high level of accountability and independence. Prior technical knowledge of the products is desirable but not essential, so if you are a passionate and highly commercial individual with a drive to take on new challenges and develop your skillset further then read on!
As Account Manager you will be first point of contact for a range of customers across the UK and Ireland, engaging in regular site-visits and demonstrating a consultative approach to the relationship. You will also be responsible for pursuing further opportunities for business development and working closely with the rest of the team to assist and support the entire Sales function.
Successful candidates for the Account Manager position will have demonstrated success within a B2B sales environment, ideally with experience selling technical products into food production businesses. An enthusiastic and technical flair are essential to succeed in this role as is a strong commercial ability. This position offers full training on the speciality product range, allowing you to become a trusted expert to your clients and gain incredible exposure to a range of high-profile clients.
