Bid Manager - £55,000 plus excellent package – based Home Counties

An excellent opportunity has arisen within an established client who is seeking a Bid Manager to join their dynamic and expanding team in the Home Counties to assist with an increase in work force.

The successful Bid Manager must have demonstrable experience of co-ordinating and delivering pitches and presentations as part of tender processes that are focused on pricing, promotions, range, layout and space. You will build relationships with prospective new customers and lead the process for RFI’s proposals and tenders co-ordinating the relevant required resource from the rest of the business. You will be able to pull together compelling pitches and presentations that successfully win new business. In addition, you will use your excellent planning and organisational skills to provide all the necessary internal reporting on new business. You will either be working in a commercial or category planning role ideally from the FMCG or retail sectors. You will be highly personable, credible and flexible and be able to produce and deliver compelling creative pitches that deliver results. You will have excellent creativity and commercial awareness and will play an active role in the commercial negotiation of any new client.
