Research & Consumer Insights Marketing Manager

Salary: £40k - £50k per annum. 5% bonus, pension scheme and healthcare with 24 days annual leave.

Location: Glasgow – Office based with flexibility working from home.

 

We are recruiting a Consumer Insights Marketing Manager for a globally recognized Spirits company. The business has a prestigious heritage here in the UK and have a strong presence within the On and Off trade sector, establishing themselves as a true ‘challenger brand’ to the top tier spirits companies. They are now seeking an ambitious Consumer Insights Marketing Manager with experience in research and data analysis to drive forward consumer knowledge. The Research & Consumer Insights Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering activity to build consumer knowledge across markets, channels and brands.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver insight built on the consumer, opportunity for product, opportunity for customer message, opportunity for route to market, communication solutions and brand innovation
  • Build consumer knowledge using research projects, consumer interviews, segmentation models, focus groups, online panels, data capture and CRM marketing surveys
  • Manage multi-market data sources (via CSV, Excel or a Self-Service Portal) for key projects
  • Deliver Measurement for Marketing activity
  • Develop and deliver customer specific evidence/story/insight to support recommendations
  • Manage multi-market and multi-brand datasets such as IWSR, Carrefour Worldtrade and Consumer & Qualitative data.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience developing and delivering consumer insight that drives positive business impact (Brand or Retail Environment)
  • Highly skilled in numerical data
  • Practical experience of data visualisation solutions (E.g. Tableau)
  • Knowledgeable with Quantitative and Qualitative data sourcing
  • Story selling to distributor and customer stakeholders
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent
  • Drink industry category in a marketing context (preferred)
  • Awareness of Consumer Marketing
