This is an exciting opportunity to join a category leading soft drinks business where their hero brand holds number 1 status within their sub-category! This established brand has delivered strong double digit growth over the last two years through extra distribution and successful NPD. We are now looking for a National Account Manager to lead the relationship with Wholesale Buying Groups such as Unitas and Confex, a portfolio worth c£7m. This is a strategically important channel where they over index but they still recognise there is huge opportunity for future growth.

 

You would be joining a billion turnover European organisation that has world class manufacturing and innovation facilities in Europe. The UK business has a strong identity with a family feel and a leadership team with a huge amount of ambition. Building on their success, the business wants to surpass its previous achievements and continue to develop their position of category leadership. As part of their growth phase they need to appoint a first class National Account Manager to support and achieve its ambitious growth plans.

 

As National Account Manager you will take full responsibility for the Buying Groups and will develop effective partnerships at all levels, driving growth through NPD and instigating category management initiatives. Working closely with the Sales Director you will have full accountability for the shaping of and delivery of the business plan aimed at driving sales and the continual development of the existing core brands.

 

Ideally you will have experience as a National Account Manager within Wholesale / Buying Groups or alternatively in Convenience & Impulse. A must is big brand experience with a track record of developing customer relationships and unlocking growth. The role is home based with expectations to be in the South East 1-2 days each week.
