A unique and exciting Foodservice Account Manager opportunity has surfaced within a growing, leading, private label business which are on the forefront of their product categories. The award-winning business has strong CSR agenda dealing with suppliers across the globe. Their current customers include some of the UK’s major retailers, discounters, convenience and foodservice businesses. They are looking to bolster their foodservice team and are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager which is going to aid the business in growing and developing the over all sales numbers of the business.


As the Foodservice Account Manager you would have full responsibility of all foodservice accounts making you an integral part to a growing business with options to progress into more senior roles. The customers which you will be responsible for would include the likes of Bidfood, Brakes and wholesalers. You will be accountable for the business development and account management within Foodservice.


Understandably, this Foodservice Account Manager role requires someone who has the ability to deal with multiple customers and is driven to grow each account, seeking and finding opportunities where others may not. An entrepreneurial flair is key for this role and is a highly desirable attribute along with being able to influence key customers, communicate effectively and develop an in depth understanding of the market sector.


Foodservice Account Manager successful candidate profile:

  • You will be passionate about working within the food industry!
  • 24 months customer facing experience in retail, B2B or Foodservice in an FMCG environment
  • Good team player
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self-disciplined and highly motivated
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Highly organised
